fun 과 funny, interesting 의 차이
fun 과 funny 는 비슷한거 아냐? 하고 혼동할 수 있다.
The word “fun” is used when we talk about enjoying ourselves or having a good time.
fun 은 우리들이 즐겁게 대화하거나 즐거운 시간을 보낼때 사용되는 표현
The word “funny” is used when something or someone makes us laugh.
사물이나 사람이 우리에게 웃을 줄 때 사용하는 표현으로 "웃기는" 을 의미하는데 strange (이상한)의 뜻으로도 쓰인다.
The word “interesting” is used when talking about situations in which we learn something or are made to think about something.
interesting 은 지적인 호기심을 자극하여 궁금해하고 알고 싶은 상황에 대해 말할 때
The action movie was a lot of fun. I’d like to see it again. (액션영화 정말 재미있었어. 또보고 싶어)
My birthday party was so fun. (내 생일 파티 정말 즐거웠어)
I had lots of fun at Michael's birthday party last night. ( 나 지난밤 마이클 생일파티에서 엄청 즐겁게 보냈어)
That joke wasn’t funny at all. Nobody laughed at it. (그 농담은 전혀 웃기지 않았어. 아무도 안웃었어)
The movie was very funny, so I laughed a lot. (그 영화 정말 웃겼어. 그래서 나 엄청 웃었어)
My little daughter is really funny. She tells great jokes. (내 작은딸은 정말 웃겨, 걘 재밌는 농담을 해)
This milk smells funny. Maybe it is outdated. (이 우유 맛이 이상해. 날짜가 지났나봐)
The new drama on TV is sad but very interesting. It’s about a doctor who is suffering from cancer.(TV 새드라마가 슬프지만 아주 흥미진진해. 암으로 고통받는 의사에 관한 거야)
