start 와 begin 의 차이
start 와 begin 의 차이점이 궁금해서 구글링을 해봤다.

There is little or no difference between begin and start.
It is time to begin/start work.
When the sun came out, the snow began/started to melt.
* begin 이 fomal 한 상황에서 사용되고 start 는 informal 한 상황에 사용
begin을 사용할 수 없는 경우
Start (but not begin) is used to mean:
a) start a journey
We started at six. (우린 6시에 출발했어요)
Let's start early before the traffic builds up. (교통체증이 심해지기전에 일찍 출발합시다)
b) start working (for machines)
At last the car started. (드뎌 차 시동이 걸렸다)
The car won't start.(차 시동이 안걸려)
c) make (machines) start
How do you start a computer? (컴을 어떻게 구동하지?)
My computer won't start. (내 컴이 구동이 안돼요)
