allow 와 permit 의 차이
Allow and permit are often interchangeable, but permit is the more positive.
"Allow" is used in personal circumstance.
When you allow your friend or family and so on, you had better to use "allow".
Permit suggests formal or implied assent or authorization.
Permit is often used by establishments or company and any kind of non-human.
On the other hand, "allow" is often used by person.
allow 와 permit 은 '허락하다' '허용하다' 라는 뜻으로 의미가 비슷하다.
allow는 개인의 판단에 따라 비공식적으로 허가한다는 뉘앙스로 사소한 허락에 쓰인다
permit 은 법률에 의한 허락(Certain laws), 정식 규칙(regulations) 등 공식적인 상황에 사용된다.
