door 와 gate 의 차이
In very simple terms, a door relates to inside and a gate relates to outside.
You open a door to enter a house or a room.
You open a gate to enter a garden or a field or some other kind of outdoor area.
집이나 방에 들어갈 때 여는 문 지붕없는 장소의 입구
I felt my way to the door. (더듬어서 문까지 걸어 갔다)
He walked out the door. (그가 문 밖으로 걸어 나갔다)
There's somebody at the door.(문앞에 누군가가 있어)
Your flight leaves from Gate 63 now.(타실 비행기는 63번 게이트에서 떠납니다)
There is a grocery store in way of the main gate. (대문 근처에 식품가게가 있다)
The park has large iron gates that shut at 11 p.m. (그 공원은 오후 11시에 닫히는 큰 철문이 있다)
